TollFreeForwarding.com's Very Own US Olympic High Jump Silver Medalist Matt Hemingway Set to Compete in the Run in Support of Telecoms Sans Frontieres (TSF)

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - May 09, 2014) - TollFreeForwarding.com is proud to announce the participation of Matt Hemingway, TollFreeForwarding.com's Vice President of Sales, and Olympic Silver Medal Winner, who is set to compete in the run. Matt will be taking part in the TSF Charity 5km Fun Run held annually during International Telecoms Week (ITW) in Chicago beginning May 12th.

Matt Hemingway was a member of the US Olympic Team at the 2004 Athens Games and soared to 7' 8 ¼" (2.34 meters) in high jumping, clearing the way to a victorious Olympic Silver Medal. On Tuesday, May 13th, Matt will participate, this time as a runner, during TSF's Charity 5km Fun Run. Matt will join the field of other runners from the telecommunications industry to help raise awareness for Télécoms Sans Frontières (TSF), the world's leading non-profit organization in emergency telecommunications. The money raised will be used to support and increase awareness for their organization's invaluable work that helps thousands of people in need during a crisis. 

This year the Charity 5km Fun Run route will start and finish at DuSable Harbour following Lake Michigan and offering fantastic views for all participants in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Last year the first place finishing time was a superb 18 minutes, and this years runners are ready to challenge that record including TollFreeForwarding.com's very own Olympic Silver Medalist, Matt Hemingway. TollFreeFowarding.com will be covering Matt's progress on their Twitter feed @TFFSocial and their Facebook page.
