MIAMI, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 05/12/14 -- Car sales in the United States by the eight biggest manufacturers, namely Ford, Chrysler, GM, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Volkswagen and Kia/Hyundai, have increased in the first quarter of 2014 with an estimated growth of 9.1 percent compared to the previous year, following a report by the International Business Times this week. The deliveries of new vehicles will likely go up to 1.4 million, which would be 400,000 cars more than forecast by analysts.
