ZS Associates Recognized with Qlik Global Partner Award

Global sales and marketing consulting firm ZS Associates was recently honored with a “Special Recognition for the Year” award by Qlik, a leader in user-driven Business Intelligence (BI), at its annual global partner summit, Qonnections.

ZS earned this award for its integration of the QlikView Business Discovery platform – with customized BI solutions built on top of client infrastructure and ZS’ proprietary tool, ARTiS™. Introduced in 2009, ARTiS™ is a configured BI solution used by ZS clients in several different industries. It is deployed by six of the ten largest life sciences companies in the world.

“We are honored to receive this prestigious award from Qlik in recognition of ZS’s capabilities as an advanced business technology integrator,” said ZS Managing Principal Jeff Gold, leader of the firm’s BI practice. “Our partnership with QlikView for implementing custom solutions and for the ARTiS™ end-to-end cloud, data management, reporting and analytics platform allows us to deliver more insight and value to our clients in an easy-to-digest, customizable format.”

ZS was nominated because of its rapid integration of QlikView with both client infrastructure and the cloud (SaaS) infrastructure of ARTiS™, which demonstrates scalability, resiliency and ability to serve a large number of clients.

“ZS has demonstrated a keen awareness of the role analytics play in the complex integration of sales, finance, marketing and channel alliances,” said Christof Majer, vice president of partner sales at Qlik. “ZS moved fast and demonstrated technical prowess when bringing QlikView to market through ARTiSTM and customized client solutions.”

In particular, Qlik praised ZS’s work to serve large life sciences and high-tech companies with channel and sales analytics applications.

“Combined with Qlik technology, ARTiS™ provides an impressive user experience in creating web-enabled reports and ad-hoc analytical capabilities to help our clients access a 360-degree, customer-centric view,” said Gold. “We look forward to continuing our partnership with Qlik to bring tailored, best-in-class BI solutions for our clients across industries.”

As enterprises work to take advantage of Big Data technologies, they frequently become distracted by product-level decisions. In most new Big Data builds this approach is completely counter-productive: it presupposes tools that may not be a fit for development teams, forces IT to take on the burden of evaluating and maintaining unfamiliar technology, and represents a major up-front expense. In his session at @BigDataExpo at @ThingsExpo, Andrew Warfield, CTO and Co-Founder of Coho Data, will dis...
Companies can harness IoT and predictive analytics to sustain business continuity; predict and manage site performance during emergencies; minimize expensive reactive maintenance; and forecast equipment and maintenance budgets and expenditures. Providing cost-effective, uninterrupted service is challenging, particularly for organizations with geographically dispersed operations.
When building large, cloud-based applications that operate at a high scale, it’s important to maintain a high availability and resilience to failures. In order to do that, you must be tolerant of failures, even in light of failures in other areas of your application. “Fly two mistakes high” is an old adage in the radio control airplane hobby. It means, fly high enough so that if you make a mistake, you can continue flying with room to still make mistakes. In his session at 18th Cloud Expo, Lee...

Eighty percent of a data scientist’s time is spent gathering and cleaning up data, and 80% of all data is unstructured and almost never analyzed. Cognitive computing, in combination with Big Data, is changing the equation by creating data reservoirs and using natural language processing to enable analysis of unstructured data sources.
