Limelight Networks to Present at the Content Delivery Summit and Streaming Media East

Limelight Networks, Inc. (“Limelight”) (Nasdaq:LLNW), a global leader in digital content delivery, today announced its participation at Streaming Media East and the Content Delivery Summit, a featured event at the show.

Senior Director of Marketing Strategy, Jason Thibeault, will lead a session at the Content Delivery Summit entitled “Uncovering the Real Reasons Why Online Audiences Leave.” Jason will discuss how the complexity of today’s digital experiences can produce various forms of latency that can potentially impact the performance of a digital experience.

Today’s digital experiences are complex, combining different data sources, scripts, videos, and processes – all of which can produce latency in an end user’s digital experience with a brand or company. Latency in a company’s digital performance can come at a high cost, with poor performing websites causing loss of sales or worse, sending customers to a competitor’s website.
Jason will identify the myriad forms of latency that can potentially impact performance, from video buffering to middle-mile optimization, and arm attendees with insights into how to prevent latency within their own organization by using real-world examples.
