Flurry, the leading mobile analytics and advertising platform, today announced that it has launched its next-generation video advertising solution to help publishers maximize their app revenue.
Publishers benefit in three ways by using Flurry’s latest SDK to serve video ads. First, Flurry delivers higher quality playback by pre-caching video ad assets and lets publishers tailor the user experience through non-skippable and auto-play controls. This gives advertisers better exposure and improves campaign conversions. Second, since Flurry Persona, age and gender audience data come bundled with every Flurry impression, publishers are able to command higher eCPMs because advertisers have more visibility into the audiences they are reaching. Finally, demand for Flurry Video inventory comes from diverse sources, including Flurry’s advertiser network and the Flurry Marketplace, where billions of monthly auctions drive higher fill rates. All of these benefits translate directly into more revenue for publishers.
Mobile game publisher Pocket Gems saw a 5X lift in revenue from Flurry while beta testing the new video solution. Click here to read the case study.
“Pocket Gems puts the player experience above all else when creating a new mobile product,” said Michael Dawson, VP of Business Development, Pocket Gems. “We value Flurry's ability to help increase our revenue while providing high-quality video ad experiences that keep players engaged.”
“Video has become the most effective mobile ad format for both advertisers and publishers. We are excited to combine the market-leading Flurry Video network with the powerful VAST-enabled video capabilities of the Flurry RTB Marketplace,” said Prashant Fuloria, Chief Product Officer at Flurry. “By combining the two, and by providing superior video caching and playback capabilities, we look forward to helping more marketing dollars flow to mobile app publishers.”
Publishers can choose from the following features within Flurry Video:
- Skippable or non-skippable videos
- Auto-play or user-initiated videos
- 15- or 30-second ads
- Rewarded or non-rewarded ads
Flurry’s improved video solution is available immediately for iOS app publishers who integrate the standard Flurry SDK, and Android support is coming soon. To begin monetizing with Flurry Video, email [email protected].
