BalaBit Expands North American Partner Program With netAura

netAura to Increase Presence of BalaBit Privileged Activity Monitoring and Logging Technologies

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 05/13/14 -- BalaBit IT Security (www.balabit.com) today announced that the company has signed netAura, an IT security services provider, as a new Certified Partner. BalaBit is a global leader in the development of privileged activity monitoring, trusted logging and proxy-based gateway technologies.

Established as one of the fastest-growing IT security software companies in the Central European region, the company recently began expanding its presence in North America with local support through its partner program. netAura brings a strong focus and expertise in vulnerability management, security log management and security event monitoring solutions.

"Customers in North America can now benefit from the cross-synergies of our BalaBit product foundation coupled with netAura's knowledge and integration services," said Zoltán Györkő, CEO of BalaBit IT Security. "Working together, we are helping companies solve real cyber security problems and meet compliance challenges such as FISMA, PCI-DSS or COBIT more easily and on a much lower cost level than the competition."

netAura will actively support the entire BalaBit product line including Shell Control Box and syslog-ng. BalaBit Shell Control Box is a privileged activity monitoring appliance that controls access to remote servers and networking devices and records activities in screenshot-based audit trails that can be searched and replayed, like a movie. The appliance monitors the blind spots in an IT system enabling security managers to do a more efficient job of preventing, blocking and analyzing security incidents.

"netAura is excited to partner with the innovative IT Security company BalaBit," said Nathan Shanks President of netAura. "We look forward to strengthening our relationship and tackling the challenges and opportunities of the North American market together."

BalaBit's syslog-ng is the trusted log management infrastructure used by over a million users worldwide. Organizations use syslog-ng to reliably and securely collect, process and store log messages from across their IT environments.

DevOps is being widely accepted (if not fully adopted) as essential in enterprise IT. But as Enterprise DevOps gains maturity, expands scope, and increases velocity, the need for data-driven decisions across teams becomes more acute. DevOps teams in any modern business must wrangle the ‘digital exhaust’ from the delivery toolchain, "pervasive" and "cognitive" computing, APIs and services, mobile devices and applications, the Internet of Things, and now even blockchain.
