HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 05/13/14 -- The American Marketing Association (AMA) Houston Chapter, the city's premiere marketing organization, has announced the finalists for the 28th Annual Crystal Awards. Award recipients will have demonstrated outstanding results, and will be honored at the Crystal Awards Gala held on Thursday, May 29th at the Hyatt Regency Houston downtown. A cocktail reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. during which the finalist gallery, exhibiting 294 entries in 77 categories, will be open to attendees followed by the awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m.
The 28th Annual Crystals Awards is one of the largest marketing competitions in the country, and represents a diverse cross-section of Houston's best marketing work. "AMA Houston recognizes the talent and dedication marketers bring to Houston businesses," said Dominique Shu, president, AMA Houston. "Each business and organization is backed by a team that helps tell its story and deliver bottom-line results. We are excited to honor the 2014 Crystal Award winners as both creative and strategic forces in our community."
A select team of judges from around the country were flown into Houston to score hundreds of entries. Criteria review included situational challenges, marketing strategy and results.
