Age: 12 years old

On May 12, 2014, at approximately 10:45 am, Vulcan RCMP Detachment officers were dispatched to an elementary school in the hamlet of Brant near Vulcan, Alberta to investigate what appears to be a parental abduction.

Officers were informed that the two sisters, Talisha and Taya Meisel would have snuck out of school and met with their biological mother, Trina Meisel.

Trina Meisel does not have legal guardianship of the children. Trina is blonde, 173 cm tall and weighs 86 kg with a heavy build.

It is believed the mother and daughters would be travelling in a 2007 black Honda CRV, Alberta licence ORNRSE.

Investigators do not believe the children are in immediate danger, however they believe they may have been taken to Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

To bring more awareness to this abduction, on Tuesday May 13, 2014 Vulcan RCMP requested that the Missing Children Society of Canada push additional information about Talisha and Taya through the Search Program, including MarketWired, World's Most Valuable Social Network™ and CodeSearch™.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Taya and Talisha Meisel, you are asked to call the Vulcan RCMP detachment at 403-485-2266 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). Information can also be reported to MCSC confidentially through their 24-hour toll-free TIP line at 1-800-661-6160 or by email at [email protected].

Since 1986, the Missing Children Society of Canada has been reuniting missing children with their searching families through professional investigations, public awareness and family support programs. MCSC's team of former law enforcement work closely with municipal and federal police agencies nationally and internationally while conducting frontline, hands-on investigative and search activities.

Automation is enabling enterprises to design, deploy, and manage more complex, hybrid cloud environments. With billions of sensors deployed worldwide, the amount of machine-generated data will soon exceed what our networks can handle. But consumers and businesses will expect seamless experiences and real-time responsiveness. What does this mean for IoT devices and the infrastructure that supports them? More of the data will need to be handled at - or closer to - the devices themselves.
Building a cross-cloud operational model can be a daunting task. Per-cloud silos are not the answer, but neither is a fully generic abstraction plane that strips out capabilities unique to a particular provider. In recent years, containers have taken the world by storm. Companies of all sizes and industries have realized the massive benefits of containers, such as unprecedented mobility, higher hardware utilization, and increased flexibility and agility; however, many containers today are non-persistent. Containers without persistence miss out on many benefits, and in many cases simply pass the responsibility of persistence onto other infrastructure, adding additional complexity.

DevOps is often described as a combination of technology and culture. Without both, DevOps isn't complete. However, applying the culture to outdated technology is a recipe for disaster; as response times grow and connections between teams are delayed by technology, the culture will die. A Nutanix Enterprise Cloud has many benefits that provide the needed base for a true DevOps paradigm.
Back in February of 2017, Andrew Clay Schafer of Pivotal tweeted the following: “seriously tho, the whole software industry is stuck on deployment when we desperately need architecture and telemetry.” Intrigue in a 140 characters. For me, I hear Andrew saying, “we’re jumping to step 5 before we’ve successfully completed steps 1-4.”
All organizations that did not originate this moment have a pre-existing culture as well as legacy technology and processes that can be more or less amenable to DevOps implementation. That organizational culture is influenced by the personalities and management styles of Executive Management, the wider culture in which the organization is situated, and the personalities of key team members at all levels of the organization. This culture and entrenched interests usually throw a wrench in the work...
