OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/13/14 -- His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada, will mark the 70th Anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy by taking part in a commemorative event on June 6, 2014, at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, in Ottawa.
"Seventy years ago, our veterans participated in the Battle of Normandy with determination and courage, said His Excellency.
