IPsoft and Cygate Awarded Innovation Accolade for Autonomic-Enabled IT Transformation

Leading third party sourcing advisor, Alsbridge plc, has recognized an IT transformation programme implemented by IPsoft and Cygate as one of the most innovative use of automation technology in Europe. The Alsbridge Innovation Award highlights and celebrates the tremendous business impact achieved through the successful deployment of IPsoft’s autonomic IT management solution, IPcenter, across the Swedish service provider’s IT infrastructure.

This is part of a select number of Alsbridge Innovation Awards being announced today, which recognize excellent and innovative practice in the area of services and outsourcing.

Within the space of three years, Cygate was able to grow its business fourfold without increasing its cost base. In parallel, the speed, quality and consistency of IT operations increased dramatically. Today up to 75% of the service provided to Cygate’s clients is delivered through the use of virtual, expert, engineers.

“Without the use of IPsoft’s technology, we would not have come so far in reaching our growth goals. By embracing automation we have broken the link between rising business volumes and a rising cost base. More importantly, our improved efficiency and reliability has allowed us to accelerate the speed with which we can onboard clients and execute changes to keep pace with dynamic business needs,” says Mats Magiste, Cygate’s Chief Technology Officer.

“We pride ourselves in delivering concrete business outcomes for our clients through the use of autonomic and cognitive solutions. Working hand in hand with Cygate, we have demonstrated IPcenter’s ability to drive transformation of IT service management and achieve higher service levels while reducing costs,” said Chetan Dube, IPsoft, CEO. “We are honored and delighted to have received this innovation award from Alsbridge, one of the world’s largest and most respected global advisors on IT and business process sourcing,” he said.

“The IPsoft/Cygate case is a very deserving Alsbridge Innovation Award winner. It was great to hear from Cygate how working with IPsoft has helped to transform their operations and produce a range of clear business benefits. The autonomic technology underlying this award is an emerging area of interest for many organizations, so we really wanted to recognize the IPsoft/Cygate case for helping to break new ground”, said Rick Simmonds, Managing Partner at Alsbridge plc.
