REAL Trends, the Trusted Source in residential brokerage, and Trulia, Inc. (NYSE: TRLA), a leading online marketplace for home buyers, sellers, renters, and real estate professionals, announced today that they are partnering to release The 2014 REAL Trends America's Best Real Estate Agents list. The prestigious list will be announced jointly on July 8th. The partnership is designed to help agents build their personal brands and generate valuable exposure, while making it easier for consumers to find and connect with them.
“We are very excited to be partnering with Trulia to bring new business opportunities and recognition to America’s Best Real Estate Agents. We have found Trulia to be a great partner who brings new ideas as to how to help top real estate agents grow their business. We expect to grow this relationship in the years ahead,” said Steve Murray, President, REAL Trends.
Agents who are recognized will receive additional exposure on Trulia. A co-branded badge, identifying them as an America’s Best Real Estate Agent, will be placed on each agent’s Trulia profile, helping them to stand out with consumers. They can also embed the badge on their own website, giving them additional credibility among home buyers and sellers. In addition, the official ranking on the REAL Trends website will link directly to the agents’ Trulia profiles so that consumers can research and, if desired, contact the agent directly.
“REAL Trends has created a prestigious real estate award, and we think that combining it with our large consumer audience is a win for both agents and consumers,” said Pete Flint, Trulia CEO. “Not only do consumers get access to some of the very best agents, but agents get a chance to showcase their accomplishments and connect with potential new clients.”
In 2014, REAL Trends’ America’s Best Real Estate Agents ranks approximately 9,700 residential real estate agents based on their excellence in real estate sales during calendar year 2013. All production numbers are independently verified by a third-party in order to ensure accuracy and report integrity. This group of highly successful real estate sales agents represents less than 1 percent of all real estate practitioners in the United States.

In his session at 16th Cloud Expo, Kevin Hazard, Director of Digital Content for SoftL...
