OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/15/14 -- The Office of the Secretary to the Governor General is pleased to announce that Rideau Hall, the official residence of Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston, will be part of the official course of the Canada Army Run Half Marathon, on Sunday, September 21, 2014. This exciting addition will further enhance the experience of participants coming from across Canada and around the world.

The Canada Army Run is a unique running event in which Canadians can run, walk or roll side-by-side with members of the Canadian Armed Forces in half-marathon and five-kilometre events.
