PulsePoint, a leading provider of next generation programmatic and content marketing solutions, today announced Darline Jean as Chief Operating Office. Jean formerly led About.com as CEO and President. As COO, Jean will be responsible for scaling and extending PulsePoint’s Real Time Bidding (RTB) business in the US, Europe and internationally.
In this new role, Jean will leverage her unparalleled knowledge of the media publishing industry to shape the company’s product strategy with a particular focus on enhancing the company’s premium programmatic and content marketing solutions globally.

Jean has been an influential member of the publishing and advertising industry, with extensive experience building and scaling digital media companies. Jean was most recently with The About Group, joining the global content publisher in 2003 as VP of Finance. She went on to become CFO in 2005 during which she was instrumental in the sale of About.com to The New York Times Company. Jean was then appointed COO in 2010 and President and CEO in 2011. During her tenure as President and CEO, she significantly increased the company’s revenue and led the sale of About.com from The New York Times Company to IAC in 2012. Jean started her career at Saatchi & Saatchi before joining Thomson Reuters.
