Euclid Launches Reseller Program to Expand Network and Distribute Analytics Solution to Any Wi-Fi Connected Location

Leading Location Analytics Firm Sees Explosive Growth and Wi-Fi Partner Interest

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/15/14 -- Today Euclid, the leader in mobile location analytics, announces its Reseller Program to enable certified third-party partners to sell and distribute Euclid's solution as part of their existing Wi-Fi service packages. In launching the Reseller Program, Euclid is in the process of working with dozens of registered partners, announcing partnerships with General Datatech (GDT) and Tekmark Global Solutions as the program's leading select certified participants.

Euclid collects anonymous data by tapping into a device's Wi-Fi technology to interpret visitor behavior in and around physical locations. Euclid captures essential insights into how many visitors come to a location, how long they stay and how often they return. In the last year, the company has seen explosive growth, activating thousands of locations and releasing the first widely distributed free location analytics platform, Euclid Express. As more brick and mortar businesses are interested in adopting mobile location analytics, hundreds of locations in retail and other verticals have already turned to Euclid to make data-driven decisions around marketing, operations, and strategy.

To keep up with this growing demand, Euclid's Reseller Program fills a gap for resellers to distribute, activate and support Euclid's services, and is a major step forward in expanding the Euclid network even further. Now Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Value Added Resellers (VARs) and Value Added Distributors (VADs) will be able to offer Euclid's technology to customers of all sizes and upsell premium features.

"We are excited to be introducing Euclid's product as a key part of our mobility solutions portfolio," said John Yrigoyen, Managing Principal, Mobility at GDT. Euclid Analytics technology is a natural complement to our managed services and provides additional ROI for our customers who invest in purpose-built Wi-Fi networks."

Euclid will provide certified resellers with sales and marketing tools, technical training and support, and access to premium exports and API capabilities for integrating Euclid into their customers' business operations. The program offers partners new revenue opportunities, enhanced packaged offerings for customers, and wide distribution of Euclid's out-of-the box analytics services. Euclid's customers benefit from additional packaged services and support from resellers to their specific business and IT requirements.

"We look to work with key partners to make our analytics ubiquitous and jointly provide customers with the same analytics available to e-commerce," said Mark Dahm, VP of Partnerships at Euclid. "The vision behind the Euclid Reseller Program is to make activating locations analytics an easy decision and natural value-add to Wi-Fi infrastructure."

Any company that signs up for the Reseller Program will have the opportunity to distribute Euclid Express, which features standard metrics around visitor behavior. Certified participants receive:

  • Ability to upsell and earn margin on premium features and analytics services
  • Full Euclid Express dashboard access to demo accounts, test labs and customer settings with:
    • Customizable dashboards by vertical
    • All essential metrics around visit trends, duration and repeats
    • Real time visibility of analytics around visitor behavior
    • Quick trend analysis for easy A/B campaign and marketing testing
  • Exclusive features including: Full export of additional visitor behavior data to Excel, for easy combination with Point of Sale data, event calendars, and integration with data warehouse and business intelligence tools; API access

Euclid has already partnered with leading Wi-Fi vendors -- Aerohive, Aruba, Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Meraki, Ruckus and Xirrus -- to offer its analytics capabilities on existing access points. This makes it frictionless for hardware resellers to distribute Euclid's solution and activate at no cost.

Due of the rise of Hadoop, many enterprises are now deploying their first small clusters of 10 to 20 servers. At this small scale, the complexity of operating the cluster looks and feels like general data center servers. It is not until the clusters scale, as they inevitably do, when the pain caused by the exponential complexity becomes apparent. We've seen this problem occur time and time again. Every successful software product evolves from an idea to an enterprise system. Notably, the same way is passed by the product owner's company. In his session at 20th Cloud Expo, Oleg Lola, CEO of MobiDev, will provide a generalized overview of the evolution of a software product, the product owner, the needs that arise at various stages of this process, and the value brought by a software development partner to the product owner as a response to these needs.
