Mindjet Customer Cambia Health Solutions Wins Ovum Industry's "On the Radar" Award in the Enterprise Mobility and Productivity Category

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwired) -- 05/16/14 -- Mindjet customer Cambia Health Solutions, a nonprofit total health solutions company, was awarded the Ovum Industry's "On the Radar" Award, in the Improving Workplace Productivity category.

Ovum awards recognise outstanding companies for their innovative use of technology and highlight the innovative ideas, products, or business models that enable end-user organisations to generate significant business value.

Innovation is one of Cambia's core values and the company strongly believes not only in ideas, but also in people with ideas. They utilise Mindjet's SpigitEngage innovation management platform to drive the innovation process throughout the organisation.

"When we started to think about innovation and creating a full-on scalable innovation programme to engage our employees in ideation, design, and implementation of various product, business, and leadership challenges, we turned to Mindjet's SpigitEngage platform," said Mohan Nair, Chief Innovation Officer at Cambia Health Solutions. "The SpigitEngage platform allows us to involve our employees and generate ideas that will help Cambia collaborate, become more transparent, and prioritise business goals. It really takes Cambia to the next level of ingenuity."

"Congratulations to Cambia Health for Ovum's recognition of their innovation programme and overall approach," said Scott Raskin, CEO at Mindjet. "Their team has seen an increase in the number of employees who have pursued great ideas and internalised the value of collaborative innovation. We're very excited to watch them continue to grow their programme and bring much-needed positive changes to the health care industry."

Cambia's innovation strategy, including investment in Mindjet's SpigitEngage, has been extremely successful -- within one year, 84% of Cambia employees agreed that Cambia is a health care company encouraging innovation on a consistent basis. The company can also see a measurable return on investment from its innovation efforts. Cambia's recent innovation challenge, which employees helped build, yielded USD $4 million in cost savings associated with process changes. Another idea resulted in a new sales engagement tool that has supported over USD $60 million in sales and renewals.

WebRTC services have already permeated corporate communications in the form of videoconferencing solutions. Enterprise networks are complex. Moreover, they were designed and deployed to meet a specific set of business requirements at a specific point in time.
