EGS Companies Have Hired Nearly 2,000 Veterans and Military Spouses

PLANO, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 05/19/14 -- Expert Global Solutions, Inc. (EGS), a global leader in Business Process Outsourcing, is proud to celebrate National Military Appreciation Month throughout the month of May. To commemorate the occasion, EGS announced today that its companies have hired 1,177 veterans and 784 military spouses, totaling 1,961 hires, since expanding its commitment to supporting the employment of veterans and military families.

As part of its commitment to veterans, in Sept. 2012, EGS, the holding company for NCO Financial Systems, Inc. and APAC Customer Services, Inc., joined the 100,000 Jobs Mission Coalition. The coalition, comprised of over 150 companies, began with a goal of hiring 100,000 veterans by 2020. As of March 31, 2014, the coalition has far exceeded that goal, having already hired 140,832 veterans. Additionally, EGS is proud to be a member of the Military Spouse Employment Partnership, which partners with the U.S. Department of Defense to identify employment opportunities that fit the unique skills and schedules of military spouses.

Ron Rittenmeyer, Chairman, President and CEO of EGS, stated, "The on-going successes of the 100,000 Jobs Mission Coalition and the Military Spouse Employment Partnership are a testament to the remarkable men and women who have served, and continue to serve, our country. The expertise these extraordinary people bring to our companies is invaluable as we continue to enhance our organization and deliver value to our clients."

Commenting on National Military Appreciation Month, COL Dennis Tewksbury (US Army, Retired), EGS Director of Military Recruiting, said, "The men and women who serve our country deserve to be honored. The month of May gives us the opportunity to do so. I consider it a privilege to offer veterans, military spouses, wounded warriors and military family members employment opportunities that enable them to support their families and build rewarding careers. Our focus has led to many incredible hires and to excellent career opportunities for nearly 2,000 veterans and military spouses."
