Veeva Systems and Symphony Health Solutions to Partner to Simplify Access to Life Sciences’ Customer and Performance Data

Veeva Systems and Symphony Health Solutions today announced their intent to partner to make it fast and easy for life sciences companies to use the combination of Veeva’s rich healthcare professional (HCP) and healthcare organization (HCO) data with Symphony Health Solutions’ leading performance data and analytical insights.

Life sciences companies today shoulder the burden of integrating customer and performance data. They use a wide variety of demographic information in their attempts to match customers with their corresponding prescriber transactions. This process requires significant time and effort that, with inaccurate or incomplete data, can lead to errors and delayed access to critical business information.

To address this problem, Veeva Systems and Symphony Health Solutions are pre-aligning Veeva Network’s customer master and Symphony Health Solutions’ prescriber datasets. Unique identifiers from each company will be embedded in both datasets to provide a seamless, efficient, and accurate match.

“This partnership will enable our common customers to more effectively and efficiently leverage Veeva Network’s customer master solution with our Integrated Dataverse™ performance data," stated Neal Bibeau, CEO, Symphony Health Solutions. "Together, we will make it easier for clients to gain faster access to performance data and analytical insights to help drive their business."

Veeva Network is a customer master solution that includes cloud software and reference data for healthcare practitioners and organizations. Network is seamlessly integrated with Veeva CRM, giving commercial teams access to customer data anytime, anywhere, and from any device.

“By coming together and aligning our datasets, we are breaking down industry barriers for our joint customers,” said Peter Gassner, CEO, Veeva Systems. “We are eliminating their time, effort, and expense to deliver the complete and accurate information needed to optimize their commercial operations.”

Veeva Network customer master pre-mapped with Symphony Health Solutions data is planned for general availability in Q3 2014.

In addition to all the benefits, IoT is also bringing new kind of customer experience challenges - cars that unlock themselves, thermostats turning houses into saunas and baby video monitors broadcasting over the internet.
