LIBOURNE, FRANCE -- (Marketwired) -- 05/21/14 -- Fermentalg (EURONEXT PARIS: FALG), an industrial biotechnology company that specializes in the production of oils and proteins derived from microalgae, has won Cleantech Group's Standout Fundraising Achievement of the Year Award which recompenses a cleantech company for its bold, innovative or exemplary execution in attracting new financing.
Having compared the merits of numerous companies across Europe and Israel, the analysts at Cleantech Group have wished to reward the dynamism of Fermentalg, especially for its success in securing private investment of EUR 12 million followed by EUR 40 million in financing from its IPO on Euronext Paris in April in the space of 9 months.
Fermentalg was presented the Award at the Gala Dinner of the 10th European Cleantech Forum which was held for the first time this year in Stockholm (Sweden) from the 19th to the 21st of May.
