SOA Software’s Systinet Replacement Program Simplifies Enterprise Integration

SOA Software, an API Management and SOA Governance leader, today announced that it is offering a replacement program for users of Hewlett-Packard SOA Systinet. The replacement program includes a limited time credit to customers for their Systinet purchases. For Systinet users, SOA Software’s SOA Governance and API management solutions simplify integration, scalability, performance, updates, and the bulk import of existing services.

“The Systinet replacement program is intended to help Systinet customers to take advantage of innovations being made in API and SOA lifecycle management and provide customers with a unified platform that helps them extend their SOA services into the API economy, at their own pace,” said Roberto Medrano, Executive Vice President at SOA Software. “Our platform enables SOA architects and administrators that are now on Systinet to achieve scale without expending too much time or resources.”

SOA Software’s Lifecycle Manager provides Systinet users with several advantages in SOA and API management. Lifecycle Manager publishes services without requiring custom coding. It provisions APIs and services to SOA Software’s leading API management products while applying runtime monitoring, security and privacy policies. Administrators can define flexible policies and apply them at distinct points over the course of executing an enterprise’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). With SOA Software, metadata changes automatically come up in the search criteria.

The SOA Software API Gateway solution streamlines management, deployment, development and operation of APIs, enhancing security and regulatory compliance through authentication, authorization and audit capabilities. It provides central definition and management of security, routing, orchestration, mediation, auditing, threat protection, and other operational governance policies across multiple instances. The Gateway enables enterprises to standardize API and service delivery with high security, performance and availability.

SOA Software makes migration from Systinet easy. It enables bulk import of existing services through a CSV file import or UDDI sync. No custom code is required. Rework is not necessary to support differing customer metadata. Lifecycle Manager offers flexible configuration. Custom validators can be easily implemented using a wide range of approaches, including XML and regular expression-based assertions and scripts that can access the full set of Lifecycle Manager APIs. Configurations are updated dynamically via Lifecycle Manager’s Eclipse-based graphical administrative tooling and are applied immediately without a separate build and deploy process.
