Telco Systems' T-Marc 3348S is a true 10GE demarcation Ethernet/MPLS network interface device (NID) – a leap forward in 10GE Carrier Ethernet and MPLS service delivery for service providers and mobile operators. The T-Marc 3348S providers enhanced OAM, high availability, resiliency and time synchronization combined with low power consumption and an ultra-small footprint to reduce operating expenditures. It has embedded support for both Carrier Ethernet and IP/MPLS transport at no additional cost, and can future proof networks both from a technology and capacity standpoint. The T-Marc 3348S is optimized to fit new mobile backhaul architectures, including small cells, and is 5G ready.

“We are very proud to receive this market recognition reflecting the innovation of the T-Marc 3348S. With full NETCONF and future OpenFlow support, the device provides the perfect fit to Carrier SDN networks, supporting the evolution path from Carrier Ethernet 2.0 to SDN,” said Nir Halachmi, Director of Strategic Product Management and Innovation at Telco Systems. “Our focus around innovation and being ahead of the technology curve drives our efforts to develop and install many more great products like the T-Marc 3348S.”

“Recognizing leaders in mobile technologies, TMC is proud to announce Telco Systems as a recipient of the annual 2014 Mobility Tech Zone Product of the Year Award," said Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC. This award comes on the heels of Telco Systems’ announcement that the company is supplementing their current portfolio with innovative SDN and NFV ready solutions in preparation for the imminent technology revolution surrounding those concepts. As SDN and NFV enables the evolution to IT aware networks, Telco Systems aims to support these networks with advanced capabilities such as service mass customization, service orchestration tools, multi-function devices and Carrier Ethernet 2.0 to full SDN evolution support, with the T-Marc 3348S offering a preview of these innovative technologies.
