Epicor Named to SDCE 100 for Outstanding Supply Chain Project

Triad Technologies LLC Successfully Automates Warehouse With Epicor Prophet 21

AUSTIN, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 05/22/14 -- Epicor Software Corporation, a global leader in business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organizations, today announced that a successful implementation of the Epicor Prophet 21 wholesale distribution enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution for customer Triad Technologies LLC of Vandalia, Ohio, has resulted in Epicor being named to the 2014 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 ("SDCE 100"). The awards are given by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine, an international B2B publication that provides mission-critical editorial to address the issues and challenges of the supply chain, to recognize leadership by solution and service providers in assisting the Supply Chain function as their customers move toward supply chain excellence.

Triad Technologies offers full-service solutions for motion and control applications. Formed in 2002, this fluid power distributor has 94 employees in seven locations, and gross annual sales of $39 million. After converting to the Epicor Prophet 21 enterprise resource planning system, Triad Technologies was able to automate warehouse operations such as picking, labeling, receiving, inventory management, and special customer requirements. As a result, the receiving department saw a 25 percent increase in handling with 60 percent less labor, the company reduced picking labor by over 50 percent with the same transactional volume, and top-line sales increased 28 percent as management has gained greater control of their data.
