Jaclyn Reports Financial Results for Year Ended February 28, 2014

MAYWOOD, NJ -- (Marketwired) -- 05/22/14 -- Jaclyn, Inc. (OTCQX: JCLY) today reported financial results for its fiscal year ended February 28, 2014.

Net sales for the fiscal year ended February 28, 2014 were $172,882,000 compared to $169,483,000 in the fiscal year ended February 28, 2013. The Company had net earnings of $285,000, or $.13 per diluted share. This compares to net earnings of $789,000, or $.33 per diluted share, in the prior fiscal year (which includes an after-tax gain from the previously reported sale of the remaining lot at its former West New York, New Jersey facility, totaling $452,000, or $.19 per diluted share). Net earnings without this after-tax gain in the prior fiscal year were $337,000, or $.14 per diluted share.
