Digital Matrix Systems Inc., a credit industry pioneer and leading risk management solution provider, has strengthened its CreditAnalyst™ V4.2 software with Intellidoc™, a new feature that automatically generates documentation to detail how attributes are calculated. Its on-demand capability offers a streamlined solution for compliance needs.
When leading financial institutions make loan decisions, they often rely on automated credit scoring models. How these calculations are performed for probability calculations and risk assessment can attract the scrutiny of compliance regulators and other auditors.
“We strive to improve even our best products, and with Intellidoc™, we’ve done just that,” said David Graves, DMS executive vice president. “The original CreditAnalyst™ simplified creation, testing and deployment of attributes. Intellidoc easily answers the question: exactly how do you calculate credit attributes?”
CreditAnalyst™ helps companies create and implement credit attributes and risk models. Intellidoc™ reads the code and automatically documents precisely how credit attributes have been calculated. Users can then positively confirm and authenticate the accuracy and consistency of calculations for regulators, directly from the executable code.
The new feature drills deep for accurate “pseudo-code” with native data field names, making it easy to use for IT professionals. This ability provides more accurate calculation data while easing the collection and validation burden on both the risk and IT teams.
Other new features include expanded footnote availability on all objects, more detailed error messages and increased menu efficiency as well as added multi-user environments for use in script management, job submission and script database management. In addition, CreditAnalyst™ V4.2:
- Integrates with CreditToolkit™, CreditServer™ and DMS archive processing services
- Supports versions of Equifax 5.0 and 6.0; Experian 7; and TransUnion 4.0
Meanwhile, the best CreditAnalyst™ features stay the same. The software continues to standardize and normalize data across different credit bureaus. It also protects the client’s proprietary knowledge with encryption technology.

Mobile messaging has been a popular communication channel for more than 20 years. Finnish engineer Matti Makkonen invented the idea for SMS (Short Message Service) in 1984, making his vision a reality on December 3, 1992 by sending the first message ("Happy Christmas") from a PC to a cell phone. Since then, the technology has evolved immensely, from both a technology standpoint, and in our everyday uses for it. Originally used for person-to-person (P2P) communication, i.e., Sally sends a text...
