Picking up the Pace with DocuSign at MOMENTUM London

Guest Post by Natalie Longhini-Fuchs

DocuSign MOMENTUM EMEA 2014 is around the corner, and as a sponsor of the event, the Egnyte team is looking forward to meeting with the attendees and learning first hand about their business needs and discussing the trends impacting their organizations. This show is a great opportunity for DocuSign users to find new and innovative ways to enhance and streamline businesses processes. And, just like all those companies, Egnyte is no different. Not only do we offer an integration with DocuSign that our customers leverage as part of their regular workflow to streamline the e-signing, sharing and storing process, our own employees also use it on a regular basis. In other words, we drink our own champagne.

The Egnyte-DocuSign solution is deployed across many different departments at Egnyte. Our Sales team uses it to send contracts to customers, thus speeding up the sales cycle. Egnyte’s HR team uses it when signing on new hires across the world to save paper and time. And Egnyte’s Business Development team uses it to send NDAs and other sensitive documents in order to make their contractual load simpler.

How does the integrated feature work? It’s simple; contracts and documents within Egnyte are ‘clicked’ aka chosen to be sent through DocuSign. Next, the contract opens within DocuSign, and you’re able to determine the blanks that need information or signatures. Then you simply indicate the recipients, and the contract is sent for e-signature. After the contract is signed and completed, it returns to your Egnyte account with a status of “DocuSigned” and notes who signed it and when. Voilà!

EMEA customers and partners should also be pleased to know that Egnyte is ramping up to meet the growing market demand in Europe with the planned opening of a regional headquarters, as well as increased local hiring and the expansion of the regional partner network. For European customers who have concerns about data security and sovereignty, Egnyte’s hybrid offering enables sensitive data to remain on-premises while using the cloud for less sensitive files. Egnyte also has a European data center based in Amsterdam that provides EMEA customers with the option to keep their data within Europe.

We encourage Momentum attendees, partners and DocuSign employees to stop by our kiosk at the event on June 4 to learn more about Egnyte and see a live demo of the integration. We look forward to seeing you there. Cheers!
