Parallel Energy Trust Announces Voting Results from the 2014 Annual and Special Meeting of Unitholders

CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/23/14 -- Parallel Energy Trust (TSX: PLT.UN)(TSX: PLT.DB) ("Parallel" or the "Trust") today announced the voting results from its 2014 annual and special meeting of unitholders held on May 22, 2014. The results of the director elections are as follows:

The Trust also announced that its unitholders approved an amendment of the Trust Indenture to require advance notice of nomination of directors of the administrator of the Trust. Unitholders also approved the unallocated entitlements under the Trust Unit Rights Incentive Plan and the Restricted Trust Unit Plan.
