VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/23/14 -- For the second consecutive year, Eminence Organic Skin Care (www.eminenceorganics.com) has raised an incredible donation for BC Children's Hospital Foundation. Employees of Eminence will join together to present the company's fundraising efforts live during the Miracle Weekend Telethon on May 31st and June 1st, 2014.
"My first-hand experience of a childhood disease is what drives my passion to help kids going through similar health challenges. We are proud to contribute to children's hospitals in different areas of the world to make a difference in children's lives," says Boldijarre Koronczay, President of Eminence Organic Skin Care. "We are very excited to attend and support the upcoming Annual Miracle Weekend Telethon. I am proud that Eminence employees have played an integral part in raising the donation and will be there to physically present $10,437.90 to the BC Children's Hospital Foundation."
As part of their dedication to improving sick children's lives, Eminence will also be formalizing a new initiative titled "Eminence Kids" to be launched later this year. To begin, Boldijarre and his brother Attila Koronczay, General Manager of Eminence, have donated two mobile IV chemotherapy machines to the Children's Hospital in Budapest, Hungary. The Bethesda Children's Hospital in Budapest, Hungary, is the same hospital where Boldijarre received treatment for his childhood Leukemia. The new IV machines enable young children to continue to move around while they enjoy their day as much as possible. Boldijarre remains in close contact with the hospital and does as much as he can to support the hospital that helped save his life.
Eminence contributes to many different charitable organizations every year and is a proud supporter of the BC Children's Hospital Foundation. Helping children in need is an important cause that is near and dear to the hearts of both the staff and owners of Eminence.
The BC Children's Hospital Miracle Weekend will air on Global TV, May 31st and June 1st, 2014.

Too often with compelling new technologies market participants become overly enamored with that attractiveness of the technology and neglect underlying business drivers. This tendency, what some call the “newest shiny object syndrome,” is understandable given that virtually all of us are heavily engaged in technology. But it is also mistaken. Without concrete business cases driving its deployment, IoT, like many other technologies before it, will fade into obscurity.

Whether you like it or not, DevOps is on track for a remarkable alliance with security. The SEC didn’t approve the merger. And your boss hasn’t heard anything about it. Yet, this unruly triumvirate will soon dominate and deliver DevSecOps faster, cheaper, better, and on an unprecedented scale. In his session at DevOps Summit, Frank Bunger, VP of Customer Success at ScriptRock, will discuss how this cathartic moment will propel the DevOps movement from such stuff as dreams are made on to a prac...

Contrary to mainstream media attention, the multiple possibilities of how consumer IoT will transform our everyday lives aren’t the only angle of this headline-gaining trend. There’s a huge opportunity for “industrial IoT” and “Smart Cities” to impact the world in the same capacity – especially during critical situations. For example, a community water dam that needs to release water can leverage embedded critical communications logic to alert the appropriate individuals, on the right device, as...
