TAIPEI, TAIWAN -- (Marketwired) -- 05/26/14 -- Since 2009, "Digital Taipei" was held annually and will be entering its sixth year. Taiwan's Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs intents to create a digital content exhibition as an international trading platform in Asia. Through the annual exchange activities, the event commits to increase opportunities for Taiwan businesses. The efforts are made for companies to show their strengths in the international market, to exchange the latest industry intelligence and to look for strategic partners. Besides, all activities promote links among the industry people and enhance friendships.
Digital Taipei 2014 will take place from September 10th to 11th at the NTUH International Convention Center. The event theme is "Anything & Everywhere." Activities are including "International Forum," "1-on-1 Business Matching," "APP Corner," and " Top Apps 2014." Many in-depth discussions will focus on various fields within the industry for mobile applications; such as mobile video, cloud gaming platform, IP operation and authorization, consumers psychology, wearable and somatosensory interactive applications, 4G, and animation.
In the past 5 years, Digital Taipei has accomplished over 100 international forums, attracted nearly 1,000 international buyers flew in from South Asia, Europe, America, Japan, Korea, and China. With a cumulative number of over 10,000 participants, 500 media people, and 3,000 media exposures, the event drove more than 1.7 billion Taiwan dollars.
