Beacon’s Ceileo is designed to be a one-for-one replacement of 175 or 250 watt HID systems while only consuming 55 watts. Coupling this energy reduction with the diminished maintenance costs associated with a 200,000-projected hour luminaire makes the Ceileo a simple and efficient choice for commercial lighting projects.
Featuring Beacon Products’ unique LED bezel, the luminaire’s optical-grade acrylic lenses produces seamless light distribution while eliminating light trespass, reducing glare and maintaining uniformity regardless of the mounting height. The Ceileo uses a 24-LED engine that can be field adjusted to four different wattages and four lumen outputs (5125-5615).
Available in both square and round style options, the Ceileo is equipped with a cast aluminum external housing and recessed driver housing. Uniquely, the Ceileo features Beacon Products’ LIFESHIELD™—a patented thermal regulation circuit that counters the damaging effect of high ambient temperatures. When encountering temperatures in excess of its rated operating temperatures, the circuit counters by controlling drive current to the LEDs and when necessary, reducing the current using a dimming driver. This innovative solution ensures the maximum operating temperature of the LED itself is never exceeded.
Available in 11 different color finishes, the product is UL listed, suitable for wet locations and comes equipped with a 5 year limited warranty covering the LED arrays and drivers.

Overgrown applications have given way to modular applications, driven by the need to break larger problems into smaller problems. Similarly large monolithic development processes have been forced to be broken into smaller agile development cycles. Looking at trends in software development, microservices architectures meet the same demands. Additional benefits of microservices architectures are compartmentalization and a limited impact of service failure versus a complete software malfunction. Th...
