Through its App Store, Apple only displays apps that rank in the Top 200 performing apps in the Top Grossing category, which expresses those apps with the highest grossing revenue totals for the reporting period. The Social Networking category currently has 21,925 apps which is populated by some of the true brand names in the social networking industry.
