NEWPORT BEACH, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/27/14 -- ExplorOcean, a non-profit ocean literacy center, has organized a fun afternoon event to raise support and awareness of its educational programs for school-age children. Simply Sensational Sustainable Seafood will be held Sunday, June 8, to coincide with the nationally celebrated World Oceans Day, and will feature a seafood tasting, live entertainment, ocean-themed activities for children, and an interactive panel discussion.

"At the Simply Sensational Sustainable Seafood event, we will teach students and their parents what seafood sustainability really means," says Wendy Marshall, Ed.D., director of education and public programs for ExplorOcean. "We hope by the end of the event, everyone there will understand the difference between wild-caught vs. farm-raised seafood and which options are available for their family tables."

At the same time, budgetary constraints require that agencies find ways to decrease the cost of developing, maintaining, and running applications. IT now faces a daunting task: do more and react faster than ever before – all with fewer resources.
