Move over Monty Python: ThinkGlobal Inc., a B2B trade leads and business video webcasting company, has launched its own “Quest for the Holy Grail,” which includes a series of funny and quirky videos about its effort to drum-up votes for a nationwide contest for entrepreneurs.
“We’re having a lot of fun using everything from Google Earth and the 2014 State of the Union address to footage from the first Apollo moon landing and silent movie clips from Charlie Chaplin,” said Greg Sandler, president of ThinkGlobal. “What’s remarkable is that we’re producing all of this video work in a small office studio with technology that would not have been accessible to us even a few years ago. This is a great example of how any small business can leverage digital video to promote itself.”
ThinkGlobal is one of 32 companies nationwide named regional winners in Comcast’s "Innovations 4 Entrepreneurs" (I4E) program, a national competition for entrepreneurs who are leveraging technology to enhance their business.
Winners were selected based on essays they submitted highlighting their use of technology to enhance the customer or employee experience, and other judging criteria.
"These entrepreneurs have demonstrated a superior ability to utilize technology in their business and, with the help of the I4E program, they now have the opportunity to expand their business to a whole new level," said Terry Connell, senior vice president, Comcast Business.
ThinkGlobal’s videos – including one in which its own president appears in the 2014 State of the Union address – can be viewed on its YouTube channel and on its own website.
ThinkGlobal is the B2B marketplace for global trade leads and business video. ThinkGlobal.com is the first B2B ecosystem that integrates “next generation” Internet technology, including live and on-demand video, virtual trade shows, social media, real-time matching, translation/localization, and third-party verification for establishing trust.

Mobile messaging has been a popular communication channel for more than 20 years. Finnish engineer Matti Makkonen invented the idea for SMS (Short Message Service) in 1984, making his vision a reality on December 3, 1992 by sending the first message ("Happy Christmas") from a PC to a cell phone. Since then, the technology has evolved immensely, from both a technology standpoint, and in our everyday uses for it. Originally used for person-to-person (P2P) communication, i.e., Sally sends a text...

Any Ops team trying to support a company in today’s cloud-connected world knows that a new way of thinking is required – one just as dramatic than the shift from Ops to DevOps. The diversity of modern operations requires teams to focus their impact on breadth vs. depth. In his session at DevOps Summit, Adam Serediuk, Director of Operations at xMatters, Inc., will discuss the strategic requirements of evolving from Ops to DevOps, and why modern Operations has begun leveraging the “NoOps” approa...
