Plastic Surgeon in New York City Offers Breast Augmentation Without Implants

Dr. Stafford R. Broumand Offers Natural Breast Enhancement With Fat Transfer as an Alternative to Traditional Breast Augmentation With Implants

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 05/29/14 -- Natural breast enhancement is an innovative technique that utilizes fat transfer instead of implants to add volume to the breasts. At his Manhattan-based practice, New York City plastic surgeon Stafford R. Broumand, MD says natural breast enhancement with fat transfer has become an increasingly popular option for women seeking an alternative to traditional breast augmentation.

According to Am I a Candidate for Natural Breast Enhancement? -- a recent blog post authored by Dr. Broumand -- patients must meet three main criterion in order to be considered ideal candidates for the procedure:

1. "Patients must be willing to be compliant with the BRAVA® system for several weeks prior to surgery."

2. "Patients must have enough skin to cover the new volume of fat before any cells can be injected."

3. "Patients must have enough fat on their body to be harvested and transferred to the breasts."

Dr. Broumand elaborates on the criteria, noting that he rarely encounters a patient who does not have enough fat to be harvested due the fact small amounts of fat can generally be obtained from several different areas of the body in order accumulate enough volume for transfer. Additionally, for those who do not meet the second criterion mentioned, he says the BRAVA® system available at his practice can often be used to expand the skin and create enough space for an optimal amount of fat to be transferred.

The BRAVA® system, as noted in another recent blog post authored by Dr. Broumand, is an advanced technique for external skin and tissue expansion prior to natural breast enhancement. "Not only does the BRAVA® system expand skin and breast tissue to enable larger volumes of fat to be transferred," says the NYC plastic surgeon, "but it also increases blood flow to the chest so that more of the fat itself survives." According to his website, the BRAVA® system needs to be worn for a minimum of three weeks to prepare the breast tissues for fat transfer.

In the end, Dr. Broumand notes that although the entire process can be a bit longer than traditional breast augmentation with implants, the results from natural breast enhancement procedures are "typically very effective and impressive."

Up until last year, enterprises that were looking into cloud services usually undertook a long-term pilot with one of the large cloud providers, running test and dev workloads in the cloud.
