The decrease in revenues as compared to 2013 is primarily due to final delivery of Escape From Planet Earth in 2013. Despite the reduced revenues, the operating loss remained consistent with prior year, primarily due to the production and capitalization of the Ratchet & Clank film. As previous disclosed revenues and incremental earnings from Ratchet & Clank will not be recognized until the project is delivered.

Michael Hefferon, President and Executive Producer, commented, "The Company continues to increase production service levels to further improve quarterly results. The recently announced Bob the Builder series began very early pre-production and the financial impact of that project will not be fully felt until the third quarter of 2014. Production of Ratchet & Clank continues and we look forward to a timely completion in early 2015."

Craig Graham, Chief Executive Officer, added, "We continue to increase both our service and intellectual property roster while improving our production pipeline to ensure superior on-screen quality."

Transforming cloud-based data into a reportable format can be a very expensive, time-intensive and complex operation. In this strange new world where more and more power is drawn from business technology, companies are effectively straddling two paths on the road to innovation and transformation into digital enterprises. The first path is the heritage trail – with “legacy” technology forming the background. Here, extant technologies are transformed by core IT teams to provide more API-driven approaches. Legacy systems can restrict companies that are transitioning into digital enterprises. To truly become a lead...

Companies are harnessing data in ways we once associated with science fiction. Analysts have access to a plethora of visualization and reporting tools, but considering the vast amount of data businesses collect and limitations of CPUs, end users are forced to design their structures and systems with limitations. Until now. As the cloud toolkit to analyze data has evolved, GPUs have stepped in to massively parallel SQL, visualization and machine learning.

In his session at 21st Cloud Expo, Shashank Jain, Development Architect at SAP, will touch upon concepts of observability in the cloud and also some of the challenges we have. Generally most cloud-based monitoring tools capture details at a very granular level. To troubleshoot problems this might not be good enough.
