INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- (Marketwired) -- 05/30/14 -- The 2014 International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo, the ethanol industry's largest conference, is packed with a comprehensive agenda featuring more than 140 speakers and four comprehensive tracks. Now in its 30th year, the FEW, taking place June 9-12 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, provides the global ethanol industry with cutting-edge content and unparalleled networking opportunities in a dynamic business-to-business environment.
New this year to the FEW, the General Session will feature ethanol producers from some of the industry's top producing companies discussing where the ethanol industry may have its largest growth opportunities and how producers may invest in their production facilities. Executives and general managers from Pacific Ethanol Inc., Pinal Energy LLC, Illinois River Energy and POET will take the stage to help the attendees better understand where new opportunities may be within the ethanol industry.
"We are excited about both General Session panels this year," said Tim Portz, vice president of content and executive editor at BBI International. "The first will allow attendees to hear where producers plan to make investments in their facility and the market in general. The second panel will feature some of the industry's pioneers and they will reflect on the past 30 years of the ethanol industry and give insight as to where they believe it is heading."
Other keynote speakers addressing the crowd include Rick Tolman, CEO of the National Corn Growers Association and Tom Buis, CEO of Growth Energy.
This year's FEW is expected to draw nearly 2,000 attendees, including ethanol producers, industry suppliers, service providers and researchers from around the world. During the course of the event, they'll discuss issues categorized into four tracks:
