To celebrate car fanatics, automotive enthusiasts, and petrol heads everywhere; Shell Helix is giving away the chance to join them and their technical partner, Scuderia Ferrari, at the 2014 Formula 1 Shell Belgium Grand Prix and all you have to do is share a picture that shows your pride for your ride.
Shell Helix has used the latest in user generated content curation technology to create a truly social campaign. In order to enter a person needs to only tag an image of their car #mycar and the content will be automatically pulled in the mycar.shell.com gallery entering them with a chance to win a once in a life time formula one experience.
Alternatively, images can be uploaded directly to the mycar.shell.com site and be in with a chance to win the grand prize that includes: flights to Belgium, exclusive F1 tickets with access to the Ferrari paddock, a meet and greet with the drivers, and even the chance to go karting with F1 superstar Kimi-Matias Raikkonen.
Alexandra Ip, brand manager for Shell Helix, said "the campaign is the first time that Shell Helix has run a truly social global promotion. The aim is to really tap into drivers' passion for their cars. It allows a chance to share the particulars drivers love about their vehicles while celebrating the passion for cars across the board."
The campaign will run until June 30th and is open to all markets outside of North America.
