The event, themed "Finding and Building the Next Rising Stars," provided a platform for international perspectives on scouting for innovation and creating global winners.
Promising start-ups pitched five minutes about their unique innovations in hot technology areas including smart cities, mobile, media, big data, Internet, and the Internet of things. In the theme of democratizing the investment playing field, all speakers pitched to the start-ups and audience; even the keynote speakers were clocked at 15-minute microburst sessions.
