The Global Telecoms Business Innovation awards were presented at a gala dinner at The Park Lane Hotel in London on May 14 2014. Global Telecoms Business has presented awards annually since 2007 to the companies behind the most innovative projects in the telecoms industry. The prestigious award was accepted by Daniel Sevitt of Idomoo and co-winner Flavio Lang, Director of Marketing at TIM Fiber, during the awards ceremony last week.
“We’re really honoured to have won this award alongside our friends at TIM Brasil,” said Alex Rudnicki, Idomoo's VP of Strategic Accounts. “We’re especially proud that the creative work we’re doing in Brazil is being recognized globally for its impact on customer engagement.”
Flavio Lang said, “We’re very pleased to see the work we have done with Idomoo recognized by such a prestigious organization. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and this award confirms our commitment to that ideal.”
The GTB Innovation Awards celebrate innovative projects in the global telecommunications industry, recognizing the work between vendors, operators and wholesale service providers.
"This year we had more nominations than ever before,” said GTB editor Alan Burkitt-Gray. “Two of the big growth areas in the industry this year are mobile money and machine-to-machine services. We run the Global Telecoms Business Innovation Awards to say well done to the men and women in the industry - operators and vendors alike - who are making such a difference to the world," he said. "Congratulations to this year's winners."
