MISSISSUGA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 06/09/14 -- Analytica Taiwan has the results of the testing phases of waste water treatment for Taiwan Semiconductor and is ready to sign the formal waste water treatment contract with Taiwan Semiconductor Corp.
The factories are located in Hsin Chu Science Park, Taichung Science Park, and Tainan Science Park.
6 inch Semiconductors: Factory 2
8 inch Semiconductor: Tsmc 3/5, Tsmc 8 and Tsmc 6
12 inch Semiconductor: Tsmc 12 ( P1approx. P6), Tsmc 14 (P1approx. P6), Tsmc 15 (P1approx. P5)
Analytica Taiwan will provide the technology and Amino-Nitro treatment equipment.
Each factory will treat 1200 ton / day. The Amino-Nitro concentration at the intake is about 2000 PPM, After treatment it will reduce the Amino -Nitro to under 100 PPM, which is well under the government guideline of 500 PPM.
-- 100 x 12 = 1200 -- The waste water treatment cost per 100 ton/ day, Analytica will provide the equipment and facilities onsite, the equipment cost is about 1 million USD per 100 ton of waste water, for each factory, the daily discharge is about 1200 tons, so the project for each factory could exceed 12 million dollars per location. -- TSM has 16 factories in Taiwan, Singapore, and USA the total construction project will be 192 million USD, and Analytica started the engineering survey for three factories on May 1, 2014. The survey will be completed in two months and then the installation will be ready to start on Tsmc 2 follow by Tsmc 3 and 5.
