FORT LAUDERDALE, FL and CHARLOTTE, NC--(Marketwired - June 09, 2014) - Sunshine Cleaning Systems, a privately held integrated cleaning company with locations throughout Florida and North Carolina, has completed and received the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA) Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) Certification with Honors.
This prestigious certification is bestowed upon only a select few companies. Currently, there are more than 500,000 cleaning companies nationally, but only 600 have received the CIMS certification. This places Sunshine Cleaning Systems in the top tenth of one percent of all cleaning companies nationally.
The ISSA is the world's most recognized cleaning association, while the CIMS certification applies to management, operations, performance systems and processes. Compliance with the standard demonstrates an organization is structured to deliver consistent, quality services that are designed to meet the customers' need and expectations. CIMS certification applies to the entire organization.
"This is a great achievement for our company," said founder of Sunshine Cleaning Systems, Larry Calufetti. "All of our management and employees have always strived to maintain high standards in everything we do."
Founded in 1976, Sunshine Cleaning Systems (www.sunclean.com) employs nearly 1,000 employees and holds contracts with Fort Lauderdale International Airport, Palm Beach International Airport, Tampa International Airport, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, as well as government, corporate, convention centers and sports stadiums and arenas.
