Leading cross channel marketing attribution software provider, Visual IQ, today announced the appointment of Ben Sidebottom, formerly with Moneysupermarket.com, as the company’s new Director, Solution Architecture, EMEA.
Sidebottom, who will be based in Visual IQ’s London office, joins the company from the price comparison website where he worked as Head of Media Systems. As part of his role, Sidebottom was responsible for the design, implementation, integration and use of the brand’s online marketing technology stack. During his time with the company, he created one of Europe's first client-side brand trading desks, which offered first and third-party audience overlays on third-party inventory, all optimised using an algorithmic, automated attribution model.
Sidebottom has over eight years’ experience in the digital sector and previously held positions at Essence Digital, one of the UK’s leading media agencies, and comScore, where he led the technical consultancy for its largest Digital Analytix Enterprise clients, which included BBC and ITV.
