tripBAM / nuTravel Integration Adds Automation to Hotel Booking

tripBAM™, the new hotel shopping service, has integrated with nuTravel, expanding its reach to the thousands of corporations using nuTravel’s enterprise travel booking solutions today. The integration of these technologies will bring new fulfillment automation for travel management companies (TMCs), as nuTravel will automatically re-book hotel rooms for travelers as soon as travelers accept the cost-saving tripBAM option that meets corporate guidelines.

tripBAM uses patent-pending “cluster” shopping processes to find savings on more than 60 percent of hotel groups searched, with average savings of more than $50 per night. nuTravel, a founding member of the Mundi Global Alliance, delivers the corporate travel industry’s fastest, most flexible online travel booking solutions. More than 8,000 corporations have chosen nuTravel as their solutions provider.

Working in partnership with direct corporate clients and TMCs, nuTravel’s integration seamlessly facilitates the distribution of new and modified traveler hotel booking data to tripBAM to shop for lower rates against a cluster of comparable, preferred hotels. Once the lower rate is found, a simple click of a button by the traveler will send a message to nuTravel to automatically re-book and confirm the lower rate option, building additional efficiencies and cost savings into the fulfillment process.

"We are excited to offer this valuable, progressive hotel assurance service to travelers by adding tripBAM to our growing list of content partners,” said Rich Miller, chief strategy officer of nuTravel. "This integration furthers the nuTravel mission to provide traveler-centric content through one centralized online booking source. The customer pipeline for this service is growing by the week, and implementation is underway."

“The unique innovation introduced by nuTravel sheds new light on the downstream automation opportunities that tripBAM can facilitate,” said tripBAM CEO and founder Steve Reynolds. “With tripBAM doing the work of finding savings opportunities, creative TMCs and travel technology providers are increasingly embarking on new efforts that add efficiency and elegance to the re-booking process. We look forward to working with nuTravel and its customers in the future.”
