Purcell Murray Will Continue as Exclusive Distributor of Premium Brands Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau in California and Northern Nevada

IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/10/14 -- BSH Home Appliances Corporation and Purcell Murray Company today announced that the two companies have extended their relationship through the signing of a new multi-year agreement. Under the new agreement (the specific terms of which are confidential), Purcell Murray will continue as BSH's exclusive distributor for Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau products to appliance dealers and the builder community in California and Northern Nevada through December 2017.

"As a dedicated partner to our success, Purcell Murray has demonstrated spectacular growth and solid performance. This dedication has been so convincing to BSH that we have offered an early extension of their distributor agreement," said Michael Traub, president and CEO, BSH Home Appliances Corp. "The strong, 22 year relationship we have forged with Purcell Murray in the important markets of California and Northern Nevada has been critical to the continued growth of our mass premium and luxury brands." Purcell Murray's relationship with BSH dates back to 1992, when BSH granted distribution rights for its Bosch brand to Purcell Murray.

As part of the extended contract, Purcell Murray will transition its current showroom in Huntington Beach to the state-of-art BSH showroom in Irvine, Calif. This transition will provide greater exposure and enhance overall consumer experience. To address the demand in increased sales and the re-emergence of builder business, Purcell Murray has added 95,000 square feet of warehouse space to its prior 171,000 square feet in its north and south locations.

"We are excited about the opportunity to further our growth alongside BSH and we look forward to continuing the tremendous relationship our two companies have built," Matt Murray, managing director of Purcell Murray, and Kels Purcell, director of sales announced to their employees. "Signing the three-year renewal of our distributor agreement with BSH through December 2017 further solidifies our partnership."
