Bill Pincus, Global's new Chairman said, "We're very lucky to have Tim join our Company. He brings new energy to our management team and the right combination of skills and experience to build our company. It's a particularly fortuitous time to join with the receipt of operating permits and the new discovery of significant mineralization above Level 6 (NR May 15, 2014). I look forward to working with Tim and supporting him as he leads the Company."
Tim McCutcheon commented: "Global Minerals is a great opportunity and I am extremely excited about leading the Company forward. Strieborna is a strong asset with a high grade silver-copper resource and valuable existing infrastructure. Given the advanced stage of the project and the upcoming PEA, I look forward to using these strengths to develop Strieborna as soon as possible to put Global Minerals on a solid foundation for future growth."
Strieborna is a high-grade silver-copper-antimony vein deposit in an historic mining district near the town of Roznava in eastern Slovakia. It has excellent expansion potential over and above the already well-defined resource. Significant infrastructure at site includes a working shaft and hoisting system, extensive underground access through a series of drifts, crosscuts and tunnels and associated surface facilities.
