MEDINA, MN -- (Marketwired) -- 06/11/14 -- River's End Trading Company has named Bret Slane senior vice president, chief merchandising officer of River's End Trading Company and Page and Tuttle.
Slane will be responsible for leading, developing and overseeing merchandising and marketing to drive growth and expand relationships with suppliers, distributors and customers. His extensive industry experience will fuel River's End Trading Company's focus on innovative approaches to promotional apparel, including fresh lines, inventory management, decoration services and custom project development.

Slane has been a member of the River's End advisory board for the past year, which will allow him to hit the ground running in his new role. His previous experience has given him a deep understanding of how to position brand building products to appeal to the end customer. Most recently, he served as president of Alexander Manufacturing, an ASI hard goods supplier. Prior to that, he was vice president of merchandising at Corporate Express Promotional Marketing.
