Cartera Commerce, the leader of omni-channel marketing solutions that increase revenue and customer loyalty for merchants, has named Erin Warren as its senior vice president of marketing. In this new role, Warren will leverage her previous direct-to-consumer digital marketing experiences in the financial, technology and consumer goods industries to lead the company in its goal to make shopping more rewarding for consumers.
Prior to joining Cartera, Warren served as the chief marketing officer of CollegeWeekLive and lead teams at both Sallie Mae and UPromise. Her mix of financial and consumer marketing know-how will prove useful in this new role at Cartera, whose partners include the top three largest financial institutions, all five of the largest airlines and hundreds of merchant advertisers.
“Erin’s experience in the financial industry and her success with channel and digital, consumer marketing will enable a seamless transition to her new role within our team,” said Tom Beecher, president and CEO of Cartera Commerce. “As we continue to grow and provide new, innovative solutions to our marketing partners and their consumers, we’ll look to Erin’s expertise, leadership and energy – and her fresh perspective – to drive meaningful, multifaceted communications about those advancements.”
Warren has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northeastern University and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College. She was also a member of the 1994 and 1998 U.S. Winter Olympic Luge Team, and currently serves on the U.S. Luge Association’s Board of Directors.
“Cartera has a unique technology platform in a fast-moving industry, and our roster of merchant, FI and airline partners is nothing short of impressive,” said Warren. “As we continue to look for new ways to help make shopping more rewarding, I look forward to helping both our partners and their consumers better understand the value of these impactful online marketing and loyalty programs.”
