ST. LOUIS, MO -- (Marketwired) -- 06/11/14 -- Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE: SF) today announced the formation of the Office of the President, which will consist of three senior executives charged with overseeing various areas within the organization in support of Ron Kruszewski, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Stifel Financial Corp. These three executives, Victor Nesi, Jim Zemlyak, and Tom Mulroy, have been invaluable members of the senior leadership team over the past number of years.

Keefe, Bruyette & Woods (KBW) will continue to operate as a separate brand within Stifel, headed by its Chief Executive Officer, Tom Michaud. Mr. Nesi joined Stifel in 2009 from Merrill Lynch and has over 25 years of investment banking experience. He has served as a Director of Stifel Financial Corp. and Head, together with Mr. Mulroy, of Stifel's Institutional business.
Mr. Zemlyak joined Stifel in 1999 and, working closely with Mr. Kruszewski, has overseen the tremendous growth in Stifel's business since that time. He has served as CFO and a Director of Stifel Financial Corp. since joining the firm.
Mr. Mulroy joined Stifel in 2005 from Legg Mason Capital Markets and has over 25 years of experience in the capital markets business. He has served as a Director of Stifel Financial Corp. and Head, together with Mr. Nesi, of Stifel's Institutional business.
