Officescape, a leading office service and solutions provider, today announced the launch of the first version of its multi-platform, mobile app designed to extend essential elements of office functionality to users on-the-go. This free app is currently available for use with iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows Phone devices.
With a few clicks, the Officescape mobile app allows anyone to search Officescape’s network of more than 1,500 Office on Demand℠ locations worldwide, view locations on a map, select favorites and make reservations. When search results are returned, the user can filter locations by price, distance, room capacity and required amenities and then select and book the office or meeting room they choose, by the hour or by the day. When the mobile device’s Location Services functionality is enabled, the app will display the five Officescape locations nearest the user’s location in the Featured Locations area on the home screen. This feature is important for road warriors and other business travelers who may not know exact details of their location while traveling, and it helps them easily find the ideal Office on Demand℠ network location nearest them.
New users can sign-up for a free Virtual Office 2.0 account directly from the app to begin reserving space immediately. Existing users can log in to their accounts from the app, view previous reservations, and set a home city and frequented cities to simplify searches and booking of office and meeting room space in those cities. Further development is already underway to integrate more elements of Officescape’s essential office services into future versions of this mobile app.
