Orvana's Sale of Copperwood to Highland to Close on or Before June 17

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 06/13/14 -- Orvana Minerals Corp. (TSX: ORV) (the "Company" or "Orvana") announces that Orvana and Highland Copper Company Inc. ("Highland") expect to close the sale of Orvana's Copperwood Project ("Copperwood") to Highland on or before Tuesday, June 17, 2014. All material closing documents have been settled between the parties. The base consideration of US$13,000,000, as described in the news release issued May 29, 2014, to be paid to Orvana and the shares of Orvana Resources US Corp., together with all closing documents, are expected to be exchanged on or before Tuesday, June 17, 2014.
