Vertical Communications Names David Krietzberg Chief Financial Officer

Highly Regarded Executive Will Oversee Fiscal Operations and Strategic Initiatives

SANTA CLARA, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/16/14 -- Vertical Communications®, a leading provider of business communications software and solutions, announced that David Krietzberg has been named the company's chief financial officer. In this capacity, Krietzberg will work with Vertical's executive team and board of directors in developing and implementing the company's financial initiatives and programs, as well as maintaining relationships with financial institutions and investors. His appointment is effective immediately.

An industry veteran, Krietzberg joins Vertical after serving briefly as chief financial officer of Fulton Communications where he helped facilitate the merger of Vertical and Fulton. Prior to that, Krietzberg worked at Crexendo, a provider of hosted communications services, where he held the posts of senior vice president and chief administration officer. In addition, Krietzberg served as chief financial officer for both Mitel U.S. and Inter-Tel Technologies, where he was instrumental in acquiring over $100 million of direct sales and services businesses in 33 cities over a four-year period. Krietzberg was vice president of finance and treasurer with Executone before its merger with Inter-Tel.

Krietzberg holds both MBA and BBA degrees from Pace University in Pleasantville, NY. He is a resident of San Juan Capistrano, CA.
