Benson has joined its Board of Directors. Mr. Benson joins other directors including Thomas Johnston, Chief Executive Officer; Dr. Philip Sanger, Chief Medical Officer; Dr. Corazon M. Ramirez; and Michael Gade.
Mr. Benson currently is Chairman of the Board for a managed service and technology company and Chairman of the Audit Committee for a large mutual fund company. He also serves on the boards of healthcare and telecommunications companies. Throughout his career, Mr. Benson has held senior executive positions for such companies as CIGNA, Aetna, Coventry Health Care, TriSurant, the Methodist Health Care System in Houston, and Connecticut General. He has also served as the manager of command and control systems for the Pentagon, the White House, and the Pacific Theater.
